Who we are
This policy explains how HST Service Providers ([full legal company name], tax number [NIF], registered office at [registered address], Portugal) — referred to as “HST”, “we” or “us” — collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or get in touch with us. HST is the data controller for that data.

What data we collect
We only collect the data we need. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- Contact data — your name, email address, phone number, organization and the content of your message, when you contact us by email or phone.
- Technical data — your IP address, browser type, device, date and time of access and pages requested. This is recorded automatically by our hosting provider in server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Cookie preferences — the choice you make in our cookie banner.
- Usage data — which pages are visited and how the site performs, only if you accept analytics cookies.
This website has no forms, user accounts or online payments. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not collect special categories of personal data.
How we use your data and why
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we need a legal basis for each use of your data:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Reply to your enquiries and discuss projects, partnerships or services | Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Deliver the website, keep it secure and prevent abuse | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Remember your cookie choice | Legal obligation to record consent (Art. 6(1)(c)) and legitimate interest |
| Measure how the website is used (analytics) | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time |
| Comply with accounting, tax and other legal obligations | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We only share personal data with service providers that help us run this website and our business, and only as far as they need it. They act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations:
- Website hosting — [hosting provider name], which stores the site and its server logs.
- Email — [email provider name], which handles our email.
- Google Fonts — this site loads its typeface from Google’s servers (Google Ireland Limited). To deliver the font, your browser sends your IP address to Google. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
- Analytics provider — only if you accept analytics cookies and only once analytics is in use on this site.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by appropriate safeguards such as the Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries — for as long as needed to handle them and for up to [24 months] after our last contact, unless a business relationship follows, in which case we keep what is necessary for that relationship and for the periods required by law.
- Server logs — up to [30 days], unless needed to investigate a security incident.
- Cookie preferences — 12 months, after which we ask you again.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Erase your data, in the cases provided by law
- Restrict how we use your data
- Object to uses based on our legitimate interest
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing
To exercise any of these rights, email lnunes@servproviders.pt. We will reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) — www.cnpd.pt.
How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access restricted to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and review our measures regularly.
Cookies Policy
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way. We use them as little as possible.
Categories
- Strictly necessary — needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choice. These do not need your consent and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These are only set if you accept them. At the moment, this website does not use analytics cookies; if we add them, they will stay off until you allow them.
Cookies and storage used on this website
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |

We will update this table if we add any other cookies.
Managing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may mean the cookie banner appears on every visit.
